I’ve often found that vain and repetitive worship music leaves me empty. Nessuno argues that Christian art is at its best when it stops telling us what to feel and gives us something real and specific to see, imagine, and experience—something that points us beyond ourselves to God.

The problem emerges when Christians stop trying to create art for the sake of personally engaging with mystery and instead try to use art for explicit evangelism.
